Capturing Life’s Moments (Founded in 2016)
2021 has definitely been a year filled with ups and downs for all of us. While certainly an improvement from last year, we are still battling an on-going pandemic and trying to make sense of the so-called ‘new normal’ that is happening right before our eyes. I wanted to do something a little different to top off the end of the year as we embrace hope and change as 2022 is only days away. I always look forward to a new year with optimism and positivity for what’s to come. This year, I’m really looking to focus on finding the light in every situation, spreading kindness to others, and really focusing on taking care of myself. Being present in the moment, unplugging from it all every once in a while, knowing when to turn off the news, and really appreciate the smaller things in life.
I choose the photo above since it’s really the image that started it all for me to create my own travel blog those five years ago. Capturing Life’s Moments was born out of showcasing my love and admiration for travel and sharing my personal tips, experiences, and recommendations on visiting a particular destination whether across the globe or right in your backyard. I always love exploring the kinds of places that are found right where I live. Whether it’s supporting a local restaurant, independent coffee shop, boutique, museum, or any other business, it gives me a better appreciation of where I live and what is going on around me. I hope it gives you all the inspiration to find the beauty in every moment and explore the unique points of interest in your area too.
From my first post about my trip to Paris all the way to now, I hope it gives you the inspiration to travel and explore the beautiful world around us. While the pandemic has definitely posed a challenge, this really also allows you to travel and support local that always need our support in these trying times.
